Today, on February 21, the Administration of Batumi Botanical Garden granted the families temporarily living on the territory of the garden with the certificates of apartment ownership on behalf of Batumi City Hall. Under the funding of the International Charity Fund ”Kartu Group” a five-storey residential house was built for this families in N107 of Lermontov Street, where 28 families temporarily living on the garden territory occupied the residences last year.
Director of Batumi Botanical Garden Mr. Irakli Archaia granted ownership certificates to five families, who will soon leave their amortized residential houses and will celebrate house-warming in refurbished apartments.
Six more families will remain in the Botanical Garden, as their resettlement issue will be settled by the relevant apartment Commission of Batumi City Hall in the nearest future.
Garden Administration once again congratulates new homes to the families living on the territory of the Garden. Administration wishes them health and many happy days!
