On May 27, 2017 the Dissertation Work “Bio-Ecological Peculiarities of the species protected with IUCN Red List of the World Flora and ex-situ conservation at Batumi Botanical Garden” 2017 was upheld at the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Healthcare. Scientific Leader of the Research is Mariam Metreveli, Doctor of Biological Science, Senior Scientific Worker of the Institute of Phyto-Pathology and Bio-Diversity.
