Today, on June 16, Batumi Botanical Garden was visited by Professor Christian Corner from the Botany Institute at Baser University together with the representatives of the Botanical Institutions of our country.

On the same day, the guest made a presentation before the scientists from Batumi Botanical Garden and Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University on “Principles of plant phenology".

Within the frame of the visit, the botanical excursions are planned in the habitats of critical species of Ajara wild flora together with the specialists of Local Flora and Conservation Department of Batumi Botanical Garden.

Participation of our representatives in joint botanical expeditions plays a significant role in terms of raising awareness about Batumi Botanical Garden with century-long tradition of studying Kolkheti Eco-systems and wild flora diversity and at the same time, it set important prospects for its further involvement in the research programs.
