The Prices for the Entrance Ticket to the N(N)LE Batumi Botanical Garden and Various Services


1. The price of a ticket covering a visit to the Botanical Garden is set at GEL 20 (twenty);


2. Preferential rates for visiting the Botanical Garden:

a) The price of a ticket covering a visit to the Botanical Garden for a citizen of Georgia and a person having a permanent residence permit in Georgia (ID required) is set at GEL 10 (ten);

b) The ticket price for students of higher education institutions accredited in Georgia is set at GEL 5 (five) (ID required);

c) The price of a ticket covering a visit to the Botanical Garden for pensioners who are citizens of Georgia or persons with a permanent residence permit in Georgia is set at GEL 5 (five) (ID required);

d) The price of a ticket covering a visit to the Botanical Garden for schoolchildren attending schools accredited in Georgia is set GEL at 2 (two) (ID required);

e) The director (and/or acting director) of the Botanical Garden is authorized to set a discount not exceeding 15% of the base rate for travel agencies that organize tourist group visits to the Botanical Garden, as well as companies and government organizations, on the basis of a cooperation agreement;

f) The director (and/or acting director) of the Botanical Garden is authorized to grant Batumi Card holders the right to use a 20% discount on the base rate (20 GEL);

g) The director (and/or acting director) of the Botanical Garden is authorized to allow free access to the territory of the Botanical Garden for citizens of Georgia and persons having a permanent residence permit in Georgia (ID required) for several days during a calendar year. These days include:

  • January 1-2 (New Year holidays);
  • May 26 (Independence Day of Georgia);
  • June 1 (International Children's Day);
  • "Batumoba" (based on the year calendar);
  • Camellia exhibition (for one day);
  • Bamboo exhibition (for one day);
  • Rose exhibition (for one day);
  • Exhibition of fruits and citrus fruits (for one day);
  • Strobile exhibition (for one day);

h) The director (and/or acting director) of the Botanical Garden is authorized to hold additional thematic exhibitions of various content in addition to the events and exhibitions listed in paragraph (g) in agreement with the Mayor of Batumi Municipality (written consent).

i) Participants of the war and veterans of the Armed Forces of Georgia and persons equated to them, disabled people, orphans, adolescents deprived of parental care, students, as well as children of preschool age and family members whose social rating is below 120, 000 (one hundred twenty thousand) shall be allowed to enter the territory of the Botanical Garden free charge. This allowance shall be provided upon presentation of the relevant document (identity card);

k) Due to the specifics of the Botanical Garden, the right of free access to the territory of the Botanical Garden is enjoyed by groups of institutions with which the Botanical Garden has signed a memorandum, researchers, groups of students and teachers undergoing internships, citizens participating in various garden projects, participants in educational programs, official guests and delegations, admission of which to the territory of the garden is decided by the director (and/or acting director) of the garden at his/her sole discretion;


3. Subscription Fees:

a) The monthly subscription fee for a citizen of Georgia and a person having a permanent residence permit in Georgia (ID required) is set at GEL 40 (forty) per person (owner’s ID required);

b) The monthly subscription fee for a citizen of Georgia and a person having a permanent residence permit in Georgia (ID required) (1+1) is set at GEL 60 (sixty) (owner’s ID required);

c) The monthly subscription fee for a citizen of Georgia and persons having a permanent residence permit in Georgia (ID required) (1+2) is set at GEL 70 (seventy) (owner’s ID required);
