As part of the event dedicated to the National Revival Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan,
a maple tree was planted in the "Maple Parterre" of the Batumi Botanical Garden. The
maple tree serves as a symbol of the friendship, strategic partnership, and long-
standing cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
During the planting process, Fuad Azizov, the Consul General of Azerbaijan in Batumi,
and members from the garden's administration and scientific departments were present.
The meeting focused on the importance of cooperation between the botanical gardens
of Georgia and Azerbaijan, prospects for the development of joint scientific and
educational programs, and the strengthening of future relations.
