ბათუმის ბოტანიკური ბაღი განთავსებულია აჭარაში, ქალაქ ბათუმიდან 9 კმ დაშორებით.
1881 წლიდან, ბათუმის მხარეში მნიშვნელოვანი საინტროდუქციო სამუშაოები ერთ-ერთმა პირველმა მოაგარაკემ, მეჩესლავ დ’ალფონსმა ჩაატარა, რომელსაც ჩაქვის მახლობლად საკუთარი ბაღი ჰქონდა. სწორედ აქედან დაიწყო ბათუმის ბოტანიკური ბაღის ისტროიაც.
Batumi Botanical Garden, located at the distance of 9 km from the center of Batumi, occupies the area of 108, 7 hectare of approximately 1 km stripe of Southern-Western section of the coastline located between the river Chakvistskali estuary and the Green Cape, being spread to the height of 0-220 meters from the sea level, which not long time ago was totally covered with Kolkheti type forest (beech, chestnut, linden) and evergreen sub-forest.

Travelling in the heaven
Batumi botanical garden is nice place to walk and watch great views from slope to the sea. Its great to stand among big strange and beautiful trees and bushes of flowers and watch ships in the sea.
Nice place
Beautiful green garden with the views of Black Sea. Nice place for photography. Not far from the city center just 10 minutes ride. Everyone who is going to visit Batumi should go there.
Wonderful Garden
You can't visit batumi without visiting the wonderful Botanical Gardens, it's really wonderful and very big with amazing views on the black sea, you can go there by taxi or minibus but of course the minibus will be cheaper because it's a little bit far.
Within the frames of Memorandum of understanding signed between the Batumi Botanical Garden and Kunming Institute of Botany on December 09, 2018, the director of Garden, Irakli Archaia and deputy director Davit Kharazishvili officially visited the People`s Republic of China, city of Kunming (province Yunnan) to attend International Symposium from May 26, 2019 through June 04,2019.
The first international scientific conference''Advances and Perspectives of Biodiversity Research and Conservation in Georgia'' was held on May 20-22, 2019.
Exhibition of Camellias was held in the Batumi Botanical Garden today. In the Japanese garden there were presented up to 70 types and about 30 hybrid forms of Camellias.
