MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION BETWEEN BATUMI BOTANICAL GARDEN AND “EUROPLANT GEORGIA” LTD

On December 23, a memorandum of cooperation between Batumi botanical Garden and “Europlant Georgia” ltd, being signed by the directors of the organizations Mr. Irakli Archia and Mr. Sergo Buiglishvili.

TRADITIONAL FAIR-EXHIBITION OF CONES

On December 23, a Fair-Exhibition of cone was held for the third times at Giorgi Gabrichidze Park of Batumi Botanical Garden, which was opened by the Director of the Garden Mr. Irakli Archaia, congratulation the attending society on coming New Year and Christmas.

TRADITIONAL FRUIT FESTIVAL HELD IN BATUMI BOTANICAL GARDEN

Today, a traditional open-air Fruit Exhibition was held at on the territory of upper Park of Batumi Botanical Garden.

Up to 30 species and form of exotic and local flora of Batumi Botanical Garden, edible citrus and up to 50 berry-field fruit was represented at the exhibition.

Visit of the Colleague from Irkutsk

On November 1-4, 2016 Scientific Director of the Botanical Garden of Irkutsk State University, a member of International Association of Dendrologists (IAD) in Russia Dr. Victor Kuzevanov paid an official working visit to Batumi Botanical Garden. 

FESTIVE CLOSING OF EXPO 2016 ANTALYA

On October 30, 2016 an International Exhibition of Gardens and Gardening Art - "Expo 2016 Antalya" was officially closed in Antalya, Turkey, which was opened on April 22, 2016.

GRANT CONTRACT BETWEEN BATUMI BOTANICAL GARDEN AND LLC “ADJARISQALI GEORGIA”

On October 19, 2016 a Grant Contract was concluded between Batumi Botanical Garden and LLC “Adjaristsqali Georgia”, being signed by the Director of Batumi Botanical Garden Mr. Irakli Archaia and Commercial Director of  LLC “Adjaristsqali Georgia” Mr. Roni Solberg.

Memorandum of Cooperation between Harvard University Arnold Dendrarium and Batumi Botanical Garden

On October 5, 2016 a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Harvard University Arnold Dendrarium and Batumi Botanical Garden in the Administrative Building of Batumi Botanical Garden.

Today, General Director of National Library of the Parliament of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Kekelidze visited Batumi Botanical Garden.  The guest, within the frame of the movement “Equilibrium” granted Batumi Botanical Garden with “Book Box”
